ndrea Lee is an aspiring LPGA Tour Star, highlighted by her winning her first tournament in the Portland Classic in 2022. Lee won at all levels, winning 9 matches during her collegiate days in the ranks of Standford University. She also had 17 straight weeks on top in the women's amateur World ranking. It was the Mark H. McCormack Trophy was given to her after she finished her year as the number one Women's Amateur. After that she was an professional. Andrea Lee was a Los Angeles born girl on the 15th of August the 15th of August, 1998. James began teaching his daughter to play golf from the age of 5. The first tournament she played was when she was 8 and has also won over 50 junior championships within a span of four years. She qualified for the 2014 US Women's Open at Pinehurst No. at the age of 15 and her father playing as her caddie. She received a sponsors invite to the 15th ANA Inspiration on the LPGA Tour but missed the cut by one shot. Lee played for the USA as a Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup team and in Women's World Amateur Team Championship. After joining Stanford University in 2016 she was the highest-ranked player in its history at that time when over the ensuing three years, she won nine individual titles. Lee completed her degree in 2018, has left Stanford University for the professional world. Her amateur playing career included seventeen weeks of her World Amateur Golf Ranking leader. Lee won the Mark H. McCormack medal for 2019, having finished with the top ranking amateur. Lee had four hole-in-ones and one albatross as an amateur. She finished in Top 10 once during her first year on LPGA Tour. She was T7 on Kingsbarns Golf Links in 2020 at the AIG Women's Open. Lee's debut LPGA Tour victory came in 2022 in the Portland Classic. The winner dedicated it to her great-grandfather Min who passed away in 2012. He always called me a winner, and believed that I could win. She said, "I was so grateful to him. And I know he's still watching." She competed previously in soccer, figure skating as well as taekwondo. In addition to golf, Lee's interests include shopping for movies, singing bowling and snowboarding.
